In 2xExplorer I am missing the file tips I get when I place the cursor on the file icon, about the file type, author, size etc. as in Windows Explorer. Is there any way of incorporating them in future version of 2xExplorer? :wave:

yep!

in fact they are already present in the alpha version of xplorer² discussed elsewhere in the General forum (freshly added last night ;) )
