simtel.net have many mirrors, you can try switching to another one if you have problems. Give it another try later on!

I made a folder in your main directory called DL. Feel free to put all your programs in there and link to them from your download page.

NetEZ works 99.9% of the time and the server is fast so people will not have any problems downloading form your page.

However, you should not allow external sites to link to it because I am in the process of blocking all external sites linking to any files in NetEZ.

We have a lot of websites that like to link to files on NetEZ and if that continues it will slow thing down.

for temporary storage I can still use the old college's server, thanks

but what about things like snapshots etc? (gifs)

Feel free to use the DL folder that is why it is there. Use the college server as a backup. Certainly, links to any pages on this website will not be blocked and the snaps and GIFs will Not be blocked. I am aware that sites are linking to them and that is not a problem.

There are people that link to all kinds of stuff here. Mostly pictures and some files. They could save them and put them on their site but they do not so I have been blocking them selectively.
