Win XP does not show the File Attributes by default in Explorer.
After performing the Registry Tweak as show in:
http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/580/
The File Attributes are now shown in Explorer.
How do we enable File Attributes to be shown in 2X Explorer?

Thanks for a great program!

you don't need any special tweaks to show file attributes in windows explorer (post 2000 version) -- just right click on the column header in details view and you get all the available columns. But perhaps the tweak you mention would force the attribute column on always, which can be useful

coming to 2xExplorer, unfortunately the present version cannot show more than 3 columns and thus no attributes. The only alternative is to use the item property page.

the new generation x2 (you can obtain the alpha version from the website) already is capable of showing attributes and other columns, so the future is bright! (unlike the english "summer" we're having at present  :) )

Thanks for the good response, Nikos.

I was unaware of the three column limitation in 2X v131xx.

Yes, the tweak forces the attributes to be shown in all Explorer windows.

Question. Can the alpha version of the new x2 peacefully coexist with the current 2X v131xx if installed in a different directory? Would be interested to view the new x2 but sure don't want to risk fouling up my daily use of 2X v131xx.

Thanks again

xplorer² is totally independent from the old 2x. It has its own registry key so you can try it without worries!
