Editor² 2.5.0.5: replace dialog not selectable after replace

Post by JRz »

The title suggest a big problem, but rest assured, it is only a minor one :)

When you do a replace in Ed² and use the 'replace all' button, a dialog appears telling you that x occurences have been replaced. You can dismiss this dialog using the keyboard (hit space, enter or escape).
When you do this the replace dialog looses focus. It seems the main Ed² window gets the focus, but you cannot do anything in that window since there is a modal dialog (the replace dialog) preventing you from accessing the window. You cannot get the focus back using the keyboard (Ed² doesn't even show up on the tasklist anymore!)

When you click on the editor or the replace dialog, the focus returns to the dialog and you can use the keyboard again.

Could it be fixed so you don't have to click the window to regain focus (I'd like to be able to dismiss both dialogs using escape twice to get back to editing my file)
Dumb questions are the ones that are never asked :turn:

i don't know why this is, the second message box returns the focus to the window rather than the replace dialog. I'll look into it, thanks
