to be frank I don't know anything about complications such this. Living in an ansi-only locale doesn't help in the understanding of such unicode/MBCS problems

what i would recommend is switching to the new editor2 instead of 2xEditor (checkout the website) and only use Unicode text files. That should fix your problems, fingers crossed!

I say wrong, use is Editor2 version 2.0(not 2xeditor), but not a Unicode version.before serveral minute I try Unicode verison(v2.0,build 2.0.0.7),found it can't resolve this problem. but 2xexplorer's editor no this bug, it can set good font. give you a snap pic, you notice those english char, chinese char no problem.

i think I know what you are saying. Other people have reported similar things (e.g. cyrillic alphabets)

it seems that the new version of the richedit control used by ed2 is not honouring the "script" selected in the font selection dialog. The only workaround i know is to use unicode text (note: not necessarily the unicode version of ed2). You just need to make sure you are using unicode text files. Pick "save as", and select Unicode Text in the save as type box. That should fix your troubles.

can't resolve problem, I select save unicode text, and reopen it, the old text font is correct, but I add some new char, new input char is incorrect font. use version is newest unicode version, I think there isn't any difference with ansi verison.
