Hello

I've noticed that 2xEditor does not handles 'big' files very well.
Some times it just get stock other time it takes for ever,
all this when notepad( )is extremly faster.

Any idea why?

the editor is based on the "richedit" control, which does more things compared to notepad, hence the speed penalty

but keep it this side of half-meg files and you should be all right  :)
