editor2: How about adding custom color option for URL links?
I too have a problem with the colors I get and see a need for better colors.
Where this color comes from mystifies me. It doesn't seem to relate to anything specific.
For most background colors, I get a dark blue that doesn't make a good contrast with a dark background. However, with a black background, I get yellow, my windows text color scheme. The dark blue somehow goes away. Indeed, the black background gives me the most readable http:// color of all.
So it doesn't look like a hard coded program color, which is consistent with the impossibility of change comment above. It looks like a function of windows color scheme colors, background colors, and possibily the text color chosen in the dialog box. But exactly what, and how did it come about?
