How to disable "file close" with ESC

Post by Kirkx »

Is there a way to disable "file close with ESC key" feature. It's easy to inadvertently close the file if you quickly jump through menus like Alt+F, Alt+E, etc.

I think it's built-in.
So the answer would be "no" ... unless nikos has a trick.

Depending on the task you are performing, this feature is sometimes very useful and sometimes just plain annoying, so the ability to turn it off seems like a good idea. But then again, I'm just a newbie, so who knows.

I'll second the request, if it will help any. But except being annoying, it has no real disadvantage, IMO.

Cheers,
Levi.
