External editor (other than editor2_UC)

In options>editor, I have specified the path of an external editor (notepad2.exe), but clicking on a text files it does not respond, even after restarting xplorer2. - Notepad2.exe by itself works ok.

What I am doing wrong?

to use the external editor press <f4> on the selected file
