tks. for your answer!
But
Recommend to the default, or other software can find, but our xplorer2 can not find, will think we are relatively poor
because the general public will only use it, and do not care any Advanced Settings

i have made this point a couple of times before...

http://forum.zabkat.com/viewtopic.php?f=18 ... ist#p60105

to have appdata in the blacklist by default.... there's no other way of saying it, it totally sucks

Part of the X2 value proposition is that you get yet another nanny ;)

these decisions are simple, you just count the heads of people only seeking real documents, and then you count the few geeks that want to search funny files in appdata... then you know this decision makes sense :)

maybe it's that GUI functionality that's required.
'we' know it's there but new people do not.
you have to think about the problem from other's points of view (as you do).
so the 'first' time (or however) a search is about to be performed, mention it.
a savvy user will be like 'ok, i see', another user will be like 'blah - X'

point people in the right direction is all i'm saying :)

My partner is a lawyer who writes a few e-comics. When she wants to create a new style sheet she uses EditRocket and saves it to the style sheet repository that her comic book writers workbench (think IDE) sets up in Appdata - when she wants to tweak a style sheet she needs to find it.

If my partner read that you referred to her as a geek she'll probably sue you for libel. You're probably thinking she's a GenX or GenY -- uh uh, she's early edition GenBB. My partner uses windows explorer as her file manager and file locator as her finder - she just said to tell X2 is for drongos.

nikos, Its the 21st century already, even us old timers don't need nanny's - unless its to lift us in and out of our beds

your lawyer wife should know that whatever program is managing these templates is probably offering a more direct way to managing them... or she needs another office tool!
