v3 changed a little the way the tree scrolls, try it and see if you like it better

A quick re-install of 2.5 verifies that this indeed seems to be a V2 issue only - as above, no problem in V3.

Whether or not it could be considered a "bug" is debatable, it appears merely an inconvenience.
