please use HELP > CHECK FOR UPDATES menu command to make sure you get the correct edition (for the one you already have), but keep in mind this is not a free upgrade for everyone.

The automatic upgrade process seems to be working but if you have any problems please let me know
Happy new year :xmas:

the sensible thing to do under the circumstances would be uninstall xplorer2 altogether and throw away your license key... or keep on the new year drinking some more in case you change your mood

I've skipped the beta's and am probably overlooking it, but how do you enable the ribbon (after upgrading from 2.5.0.4 pro x64) and then do the equivalent of Actions > Save settings now, so that enabling the ribbon sticks?

I've loved xplorer2 but it's time to say goodbye and sail with another file manager...

Happy New Year

Well, happy new year.

"Boo-hoo, I'll leave my lifetime license now" is not something nikos should actually care about, folks. It's good to have more than one file manager around anyway.

since there does not seem to be a save settings now command on the ribbon the easiest way to save settings now with the ribbon enabled is to assign a keyboard shortcut to save settings now (File/Options/Keyboard in ribbon, Customize/Keyboard in menu)... another way is to create a user command/toolbar button using MenuHack (Code 32907)...

adding save settings now and export settings commands to the ribbon was requested during beta testing... export settings made it but not save settings now...

Upgrade registration went fine with lifetime registration.

I have a question regarding the ribbon. I admit I haven't read everything, but I used to have my favorites on the toolbar so I could just single click to get to them but now have to click on Favorites and then the name, doubling my carbon footprint :) . Any way to put on ribbon for single click as on toolbar?

no, we cannot customize the ribbon... what Nikos suggested was to add a toolbar and put what ever custom items you want on it...
I added a toolbar and set it to use small icons and no text labels so it does not use too much screen space...

I can't see no drama with ribbon, I disable it and... voila!

By the way, mass rename works like a charm. Good job Nikos!
