Xplorer2 2.4 ultimate freezes on Windows 10

Hi, I recently moved to a new computer with Windows 10 home edition and now X2 frequently freezes. It happens mainly (or always) when dragging files to other apps.

Does anyone has a solution or suggestion for this issue?

X2 version:
2.4.0.0 ULT [Unicode] x64 06.09.2013.

Winver:
Windows version 10, compilation 10240, home single language.

Update to xplorer² latest version, which is 3.1.0.1

@RipIxi - Not quite the same, but this combo works fine for me:

• X2 version 2.5.0.4 [Unicode] x64
  Windows 10 Pro Version 1511 build 10586.36 (was also fine on previous build - 10240 ??)

I do NOT use Windows/File Explorer replacement mode.
Nor do I run X2 as Admin - i mention that because I know of another product that loses its D'n'D target capabilities if it's run as Admin.

Thank you very much, Robert, I tried version 3 a while ago and I don't remember exactly why, but I preferred to stay with V2.

if you want all the latest patches for windows 10, xplorer2 3.1 is the way to go. If you cannot afford the upgrade, at least get version 2.5 which is free for you. See here for older versions www.zabkat.com/alldown.htm

I've been trying version 3 (3.1.0.2 ULT [Unicode] x64 09.01.2016) for some 10 days and the freezing issue also happens with this version.

Freezing happens due to no apparent reason. A few times a day, when I switch to the X2 window, it is frozen and must be restarted.

there is a way to troubleshoot freezes, but it isn't for everybody. See if you can understand this and if so, next time xplorer2 freezes try to get the minidump file out of it and email it to me:
