ESC/Cancel doesn't stop the Flatten Folder process

Post by pj »

I selected a "few" folders and pressed shift-ENTER to put all the files into a single scrap window. I do this quite often as this is one of my favorite features of x2.

However, in this case I realized after I started I didn't need that group so I pressed ESC to cancel, got the dialog box that stated something like "...user interrupted..", and pressed the OK button to dismiss the dialog. But, surprise, surprise, the process resumed with the next folder in the list. Pressed ESC again, pressed OK on the dialog, and again the process resumed.

I ended up hitting ESC and pressing the OK button many, many times. Not what I expected to happen when I tried to abort the process.

Could you please add to your enhancement list to completely stop the flatten process on the first ESC? I guess if necessary you could offer the user the option to skip the current folder and continue, but I'd suggest the correct response to the request to cancel is to stop the process completely.
