This information is only for someone else who might fight with this issue :) I do not complain anything. :)

It seems that this registry editing does not work if you chosen to save xplorer2 settings to x2settings.ini.
Nothing I do at *\Software\ZabaraKatranemia Plc\xplorer2_UC.global\Tag colors have not any effect on xplorer2. Yes, it is quite understandable somewhat, I have chosen to use ini file instead of registry (for easier daily automatic backup of settings ;-) ).

So how you get custom color tags with x2settings.ini?
You have to edit x2settings.ini and convert your desired color hex BBGGRR to decimal, just for example hex 00ffff (yellow #ffff00) is in dec 65535. So:

Code: Select all

[xplorer2_UC.global\Tag colors]
Yellow=65535
HTH
(And sorry if this has already been discussed in some other thread/or documentation. I could not find a similar debate.)
