Concurrent v2 and TRIAL v4?

Can I run v2 and TRIAL v4 concurrently or is that a registry file dumpster fire in the making?

the only safe way to do it is if one of the 2 versions uses the registry and the other INI files. v2 won't like the compressed registry keys v4 uses. It only affects some settings, not all of them

Sounds like I'm trying to create a recipe for self-immolation. Will have to set up the trial on the laptop and do the testing there. It''ll be limiting, but you're not responsible for me not having a new machine to setup up the v4 trial exclusively as the working x2. Sigh. Thanks for defining the scenarios for me. GM
