xplorer2 on mac?
are there any people here using both windows and mac and would love a mac port of xplorer2? Just a wild idea!
Re: xplorer2 on mac?
Personally prefer a port to Linux. Don't use Mac/Apple anything.
Re: xplorer2 on mac?
Linux market is not as lucrative as apple
but if the conversion goes ahead perhaps the rewrite will be in something like java that will sort out all systems

WOW! First we lose Kilmatead, then you'll probably be porting x2 to java... what would be the next? If that good Irish ever returns, he's going to flip out!
By the way, I only use Windows

I use both Windows and Mac - and would LOVE a version of X2 to use on the latter instead of Finder...
Re: xplorer2 on mac?
If you want cross platform, why not try QT instead of Java. QT supports, Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android amongst others

I've heard about QT and other cross platform tools.
but if this plan goes ahead I will find someone else to do it, in one way or other

Nikos, that would be really a great help to me, I am using X2 in W for.... ..I think almost 20 years now. Mac for 5 years, never ever found a filemanager as competent as X2. I would love to use it, please keep me informed.

Wait. Wait. Wait a moment. WHAT!?
That... tends to not go as well as one may hope.nikos wrote: ↑2018 Jul 19, 07:32 I've heard about QT and other cross platform tools.

See this topic.
We're all wondering and hoping someone with any information can post.
My vote is the local magistrate was thoroughly ticked off with his acerbic "wit" that K is in the pokey for a few months.
