Dual pane formatting

Whenever I open dual pane, it opens in the most vanilla form.. simplest view. Can I fix pane format somehow that every dual pane should copy my default window settings?

x2 maintains separate settings for each pane (and in the newer versions even each tab) so you need to setup both panes they way you want them and do a save settings now from Actions menu.

Do you have save settings on exit enabled?
