Custom color code Rules have disappeared

OH!

I was happily using 4.1.0.1 x64 18/10/2018
when all of a sudden my screen flickered and then all the files colours reverted to black.
Checks showed that All the rules (except 'encrypted') had disappeared.

1) what on earth could cause this?


I then restored from my latest x2settings.reg expecting that this would restore the rules
but the rules are still missing.

2) I have LOTS of rules and don't have to have to recreate them from memory; any suggestions?

I don't know what happened but if you had created a backup of your settings which included the color rules, they should be restored. Try using ACTIONS > IMPORT SETTINGS menu command in xplorer2. Also a reboot won't hurt
