functions in the panel when we are in the tree

Post by Manyx »

Hi,
When we are in the tree with a folder highlighted, F8 create a subfolder in the active folder.

I would like it to work for F7 (create a TXT file), is it possible?
And for "details/thumbnails"?

in general the folder tree only accepts commands that are "folder related". For other commands just press ESC key to activate the regular folder pane then issue your command

this from tips file
You can switch among various panes using the keyboard. <Tab> on its own takes you to the inactive view, which becomes active. <Shift+Tab> takes you to the addressbar, <Ctrl+Tab> to the tree (if visible) and <Ctrl+Shift+Tab> to the quick previewer. To get back to the active folder pane, press <Escape> or <Tab>.
you can change keyboard shortcuts using CUSTOMIZE > KEYBOARD
