open zip files with 7zip

Hi,
(with Windows 10)
When I double click on a zip file, it opens in xplorer².
If I right click on the file, I see "open" in bold, I click on it and 7zip opens the file.

What can I do to open zip file with double click in 7zip?

basically try the last recommendation

* Install your favorite ZIP application (winzip, winrar or what have you) and let it take over the ZIP archive file association

* Use regedit to rename this registry key from CLSID to CLSID.bak:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.zip\CLSID

having said that, opening archives in xplorer2 offers many advantages that you don't usually get using your archive program:
