Open new tabs next to current ones?

Post by AndyFielding »

Hey guys – Can x2 be set so new tabs open to the right of the active tab?

Since new tabs duplicate the active tab by default, it doesn't seem unreasonable for them to be together, rather than placing the new one after all the others... You obviously had other ideas about that, but it'll be great if there's a way to set it as an option. Thanks!

Hopefully the current method will remain as an option, especially with locked tabs. :)

that's the problem with my condition, you please one guy and you annoy the next
so what's the problem opening tabs right next to the "source" one, even if it is locked?

It is easier to close opened tabs, just clickin x, next x. I mean, the order is already right to close them. Nice when you have a lot of them.
If there is a locked tab, then open tab which I want to close, then locked, and so on, then you have to separately select the tab to close.

And, why not option? Users love options.

Or in my case, at least, also middle clicking. I think it should be doable for most who have access to a middle button / a button on the mouse that can be assigned middle click(I assigned my mousewheel 'button' as middle click).
