Hi,
I want to use Mass rename to just modify one character in a file.
Example:
80973422352353256530577_001.pdf -> 80973422352353256530579_001.pdf
80973422352353256530577_007.pdf -> 80973422352353256530579_007.pdf
80973422352353256530577_011.pdf -> 80973422352353256530579_011.pdf
80973422352353256530577_028.pdf -> 80973422352353256530579_028.pdf
In the example above, I want to change the '7' just before the underscore to a '9'. But it could be whatever number/character at whatever position in the filename (you can assume the filenames are equally long).
How can this be done using Mass rename?

in newer xplorer2 versions you can do "search and replace" in mass renaming, including characters by offset. Do you have the older version? You need to get something more recent, see here www.zabkat.com/x2h_3.htm#ma_renwiz
