In a pane with several open tabs, turn on Miller mode in one tab (all other tabs non-Miller).
Exit xplorer2
Restart xplorer2.
Now all tabs in the pane are in Miller mode.

related:
In a pane with several open tabs, turn on Miller mode in one tab (all other tabs non-Miller).
Turn off Miller mode for that tab.
Cause xplorer2 to exit abnormally - turn power off, crash xplorer2.
Normally can't reproduce this by using Task Manager to kill xplorer2, but if xplorer2 is very busy, it can happen.
Restart xplorer2.
One again, all tabs in the pane are in Miller mode, even though the last time xplorer2 was exited normally, no tabs were in Miller mode.
This can happen whenever Miller was turned on, then off anytime in the session before xplorer2 terminated.

the active tab usually passes its settings to all other tabs when you restart xplorer2
if you don't want this to happen, use TOOLS > ADVANCED OPTIONS and tick "each folder tab can have different settings"
