Slow double left-click not working

Post by AlanMintaka »

Hello,
For some reason slow double left click has stopped working, that is I can't select a folder or file name, pause a second or so, then click it again to open the name field for editing. The "eat the first mouse click...." option setting has no effect. Any idea what's going wrong? I realize that it isn't much to go on, but that's all I've been able to do with the options and advanced options.

Thanks for your time,
Big Al Mintaka

I know how I miss them - I've been using X² for so long I sometimes completely ignore the settings that I've never used before. Also, for a long time I've been using exported settings from existing installations and importing them into new installations, so it's easy to skip right over a setting I normally don't change.

No worries, man, it happens :D

I know the feeling, too. I've imported old settings so many times, I don't know any more how I set them initially.

For instance I can't find any more how to set it up so you can switch between the panes with left/right arrow keys. Nikos (or anyone who knows),m where is that hidden again?

the advanced settings editor has a search box where you can try various keywords to find options, but this one about arrow keys isn't there
I will add it, there will be a version 5003 released in a couple of days

And this is why I love offering my services to test software for this man. He either has the answer - or he makes one with a new build.

This sort of customer service is priceless.
