Single Click in xplorer2

Post by bowhuntr » 2003 Dec 31, 20:37

Is there a way, or will there ever be a way to be able to single click instead of double click in this program?

Thanks,
bowhuntr

Single-click is already here; use the registry tweak discussed in the forum. (Use your "search forum" button).

I used this registry tweak to try and get the single click:

lvsExtendedStyle LVS_EX_xxx flags for tooltips etc [* 17441]
The easiest way to find the correct value for this is to run 2xExplorer, select the view style you want from View | Options | Usability (gridlines, single click activation etc), quit 2x and read the number from 2xExplorer's registry settings (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZabaraKatranemia Plc\2xExplorer\General Settings\lvsExtendedStyle). Bad-ass programmers can set their preferred extended list view styles from the SDK headers :)

So far, I haven't been able to get it to work. Is this what you were talking about?

Thanks,
bowhuntr

I don't know if it was clear on what I meant. I have single click in the left pane, or folder tree. What I want is single click in the right pane.

each view has its own lvsExtendedStyle. You'll need to change all of them after you quit xplorer2
