pdf previewer?

Post by jimspoon »

Any chance that the Quick Viewer could display PDF files? Right now it displays the coding for the PDF but not the document image.

This being Adobe, I imagine they don't make it easy. I notice that image viewers like Irfanview and Xnview don't display PDFs either.

I've thought that would be nice too.
But, as you point out, I expect that Adobe makes that hard to do.
unless ... there is a "save preview" feature/option that has been invoked when the .pdf was created (similar to M$ office products). Then I expect that x2 could(would?) display the preview,

I thought PDF was supposed to be an open standard. Hmm, well is there any way to incorporate GhostView to do the previews?

Why don't support TC(WC) or FAR plugins, once for all.. crazy things one wants? ;^)
Most expect x2 to be swift & nifty (and usually dislike bloatwares) ;^/
