xplorer² 0.0.0.59 always check my floppy drives.
Is there a solution not to have it checked?

(That was reported as a problem before approx v51, but should be ok now.)
x2 should remember the folder view last used (when you quit).
As long as you were not browsing a floppy in either pane, then it should not query the floppy drive upon restart.
Unless, maybe you have the Save program state on exit choice unchecked (on the Tools | Options <General> tab ) and the persistent initial state is looking at the floppy drive in one of the folder panes.

Hopefully the clues to solving your request are in the above info.

I also faced the same problem. xplorer2 always tried to access my floppy drive, even when i was not browsing floppy in either of the panes.

I hardly use floppy drives. i found a workaround to this problem by disabling A:\ using MS Tweakui. Now A:\ does not shows up in xplorer2 or in windows explorer tree, and there is no more floppy drive access issue.

Have you checked your anti-virus software? Sometimes that can activate a floppy seek when checking files.
