1) Allow closing of tabs by double clicking on them (like Maxthon)
2) It would be gr8 if position of tabs could be altered by dragging them with mouse to different location within the same pane (like Maxthon) or even to the opposite pane.
3) The way Alt-Enter opens a folder in opposite pane, is it possible to have similar hotkey which can open a selected folder in opposite pane in a new tab ? (how about alt-\)
4) currently ctrl-\ opens selected folder in new tab. If multiple folders are selected can they be all be opened into new tabs. You may show a warning dialog if user tries to open more than 5 folders together.
5) how about scap containers in tabs ?
6) Do you plan to have context menu for the tabs ? It can contain option to create New tab, close existing tab. copy/move current tab to opposite pane and even reposition tab left or right in the same pane by one place.
There can also be an option of locking a tab(like maxthon), which will ensure that the directory its pointing to will not change(unless unlocked). If you double click on any folder in a locked tab xplorer2 will automatically open it in a new tab.
7) Chp's idea of double clicking in empty space to create a new tab is also cool.
Do you plan to add hotkeys to activate tab directly by using something like alt+1, alt+2 instead of ctrl+alt+ (left/right) arrow keys ?9) Now that Xplorer2 is tabbed, can we have an option to limit it to a single instance ? If xplorer2 is launched again with some other folder as parameter it can simply add a new tab to the current instance. This is a great option if Xplorer2 is launched using shell context menu and will avoid taskbar clutter.
I would love to see any of this in future releases of Xplorer2. Gr8 job
