I use PowerPro. Tryed to set the active window to "xplorer*". Did not work instead got another xplorer session with "comm port" in the title window. Went back to using "2xexplorer*" to set the active window and it works just fine.
So the name of the explorer window is "2xexplorer*"?
explorer window is "2xexplorer*"?

I don't know anything about PowerPro; but it sounds like you need to set a path to xplorer2 in your PowerPro setup.
If you took the 'default' installation location, that would be
either (for unicode install):
C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2\xplorer2_UC.exe
or, for non-unicode (Lite or on w9x OS):
C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2\xplorer2.exe

Yes, Powerpro is a fantastic freeware program
Still trying to figure out what is going on.
Yes, Powerpro is a fantastic freeware program, that works very well with xplorer, in fact the powerpro user's group is where I first heard of 2xexplorer.

The lastest version of powerpro (4.x) is even better than ever.

Everyone in this group should at least check it out.

I do not understand what exactly you wanted to do? I use the following in my macro that uses tapping a Shift key for a moment to send Tab to these three applications (this is actual copy & paste):wsfindlater wrote:I use PowerPro. Registry Editor*, ALZip*, xplorer*
So xplorer* is recognized as it should be on my system.
