Why Gray+ and - don't take folder names to account?
I'm using Xplorer2 - the only file manager that does not suck. Actually, it rocks!

Well, x2 isn't the first file manager I use, and I always wonder why usually files and folders treatened different?
BTW, most FMs have a setting for controlling this behaviour.

gray+ is a quick method to select among files only
alt+G offers more control as you want and isn't that harder to invoke!

It's just a matter of a really old habit (Norton Commander, you know).

the good thing with alt+G is that you can just enter a name without wildcard characters and they are automatically appended. Real timesaver!

you can achieve what you want using alt+G.
