Thanks! I'm used to this approach through using the Maxthon web browser, and it's very efficient.

yes, nice idea...a similar thing has been suggested before.
there could be a couple of choices in the options where one could set the
function for the middle mouse button.

Yeah. With all the mouse buttons on a PC, why only make use of one? Otherwise we might as well be mac users. :lol:

Yes good idea. I'm also a Maxthon user ans it's very a efficient way to close tabs.

It's not only Maxthon. Most programs with tabbed interface implement the middle-click. Here are some more:
* Firefox
* Opera
* Notepad++
* NoteTab
* PSPad

if users posted suggestions here on what functions they would lfor the middle mouse buton it would help eg open/view a file etc.
personally i'd like the ability to set it to bring up the customize/manage dialogues for one as they don't have any shortcut key.
