I see it too... xplorer2_UC is hitting the RECYCLER folder..

When this happens, I used sysinternals filemon.exe and could see xplorer2_UC.exe churning through the RECYCLER folders/files (for unknown reasons).

xplorer2 is blocking at this point as people have commented. The log belows shows >1 minute blocking while it thrashes the RECYCLER folder.

I've now been experiencing this even with a single file delete.

Here is the top/bottom of the recycler thrashing... if it helps...

it was a large recycle bin at the time...

Emptying the recycle bin (because of the other posts mentioning this as a work-around) took me > 2minutes (yeah, I've been doing a lot of deleting!-). Although at the time I was doing a disk intensive task as well.

We'll see if that peps up delete's in xplorer2.
