Refresh and Selection

1.5.0.1 [Unicode]
view/pane style/list
Mark/Sticky Selection isn't on (blue flag showing)

If I have 2 files selected then I do a refresh - cntrl+r - I get 1 file selected (the 1 with the focus).

Is it possible to have all files previously selected still be selected after a refresh?

Some problems/annoyances I have with the 1.5.0.1 [Unicode] version.
When xplorer2 goes through a folder's files it is slow to update the icon extention types for the file. Seems slower than previous versions.
E.g. if the file is a jpg then it can take some time to redraw the file type icon.

The program is very useful. I use it all the time.

the problem with refresh is that the selection is wasted to substantially improve speed. If you want to preserve the selection you can save it before refresh (ctrl+f11) and then restore it (f11)

if your icons got slow you must have checked "show icon overlays for CVS" advanced option. This speed will be improved in the next version

Extract custom icon overlays (e.g. for CVS) is not checked in the Advanced tab of the program options.

is the program responsive while updating icons? (can you scroll etc)
then it's nothing to worry about it, it just does it in a background thread, you can start working before icons are fully drawn
