Inactive pane locked

Help!

My left-hand (middle) pane is locked as inactive.

Clicking on it sometimes produces random actions in the right hand pane.

I can get different displays in the inactive pane by Alt Enter, etc. on a folder in the right hand pane, and can interchange panes with Ctrl U
but I just can't make the left hand pane active.

Even tried reinstalling to no avail.

Have I accidentally locked it using one of the intentional features ???

Not a lot!

If there is a file selected in the active pane, it goes grey, but the inactive pane stays the same.

why don't you put 2xExplorer to rest and try xplorer2 instead?

I don't understand your comment. Would you care to elaborate? As far as I know I AM using xplorer2. (1.3.0.3 [Unicode])

OK, I have now got the problem to go away by Uninstalling using the uninstall.exe in the xplorer2 directory, and reinstalling.

I use the system constantly but I can't give any clues as to what might have caused the problem. Seems to have happened between shut down and startup and I can't think of any unusual actions performed prior to it.

Like I posted above, it is now working OK following Uninstall and reinstall.

You might want to update to the latest version: 1.6.0.1
Nothing to do with your mysterious issue, but would keep you
up-to-date with the latest features at no additional charge.
Just install over the existing version.)
