Bookmarks can't access drives' subfolders on Windows 7 x64..

Post by TsunamiZ »

1.7.2.6 on Windows 7 x64

When the active folder is the recycler, my bookmarks can't access my drives' subfolders--although I can access my drives' root.  My bookmarks are correct.  This problem didn't happen back in WinXP.  Can this be fixed?

Also on Win7 x32. Perhaps related to this?

(...and this thread for completists.)

Nikos' inexplanatory response was to blame it on Microsoft, saying:
nikos wrote:when xplorer2 gets funny like that, i hit ctrl+backspace to go to the desktop, then everything turns back to normal
Which struck me as absurdly unplacating - so I argued and got nowhere.  Now I just give all so-called "special folders" a wide berth, and swear as if stepping in dog-shite when I cross one's evil clutches.
