Uninstall xplorer2 does not disassociate xplorer2 as default

Post by TsunamiZ »

After uninstalling xplorer2, it does not properly disassociate xplorer2 as the default file browser.  So when browsing folders with Windows Explorer, there is a system error sound each time we access a folder.  Can this be fixed?

BTW: I'm on Windows 7.

did you uninstall with true administrator privileges?
you can also use this registry script but again make sure you are running as administrator when you start it

i tried downloading that file but my browser shows the quicktime plugin instead.  can you put the file in .zip to be more compatible with downloads?
