Hello,
Is there any way to install xplorer2 on a locked down machine where modifying the registry is blocked?
Thanks,
Rob.

yes, see the portable edition: www.zabkat.com/x2port.htm
Thanks Nikos. I should have been more specific in my question. I have already bought the portable version which may come in handy, but does not work in my case as the Portable version can not be installed on a hard drive.nikos wrote:yes, see the portable edition: www.zabkat.com/x2port.htm
I am in an environment where I cannot use USB sticks and the computer is locked down (to some degree, not totally). I do not want to run off of CD although technically I can.
So more clearly, is there a way of installing to a hard disk where no registry changes are allowed and you cannot run as Administrator? Would prefer pro version but maybe Lite version is way to go? I started installing and got a warning and cancelled. Not sure if it is possible.
