Drive Bar with Volume labels

Is there any way to make drive bar display volume labels? With various USB devices it's often difficult to figure out what is what by letter alone.

Not currently... AFAIK

Something like the text labels from the other toolbar buttons... or maybe a tooltip would be nice.

You know you can get to Computer easily by clicking the << symbol left of the path in the pane header.

the labels do show but you have to look at the status bar

Any plans of supporting real tooltips? I hate breaking my train of thought when I'm forced to look at status bar in order to match the labels.
