I've encountered a glitch since version 2.0.0.0 (haven't seen it happen before that version and 2.0.0.1 has the same problem) with the find dialog. When you use find in a folder several layers deep and subsequently go up one or more levels by hitting backspace (for instance), the 'Look in' field still shows the (sub)folder you were in before hitting backspace.
Is this a bug? If so, can this be fixed? I got surprised by this a few times already (not finding what I was looking for, because the folder which was searched was not the intended one.

Yes, I think I do. I checked this on another machine and it behaves the same.
1. browse to a folder (several layers deep, as long as you can go back up one it's ok)
2. hit Ctrl-F and search for something (AFAIK doesn;t matter what)
3. Return to X² (leave scrap pane open or close, no difference)
4. go up one or more levels (using any technique; doubleclick empty space, click title path, use backspace)
5. hit Ctrl-F again
'Look in' field still shows the previous folder you searched.
Just found another interesting quirk:
When I use doubleclick on another folder to get into it, then Ctrl-F shows me the correct folder to be searched. But when I return to the previous folder (which manifests the behaviour as described above) the wrong folder is selected again!
Example:
Go to C:\Temp\SomeFolder\FolderOne
hit Ctrl-F; Look in shows 'C:\Temp\SomeFolder\FolderOne'
backspace in X² to C:\Temp\SomeFolder and hit Ctrl-F; Look in shows 'C:\Temp\SomeFolder\FolderOne' !
doubleclick folder FolderTwo in X² while still browsing 'C:\Temp\SomeFolder'
hit Ctrl-F and Look in shows 'C:\Temp\SomeFolder\FolderTwo'
Now get back to 'C:\Temp\SomeFolder' using backspace or doubleclick empty space or clicking the title path.
hit Ctrl-F again; Now Look in shows 'C:\Temp\SomeFolder\FolderOne' again!!

This is reproducible on Win7 x64 as well - although it doesn't seem to happen in all folders. (I spent the last half-hour trying to figure out why some folders do and some don't, but I found no consistencies [objects found/not-found in previous search, folder depths, etc] - but all I did was give myself a headache. Strange bug, this.)
It doesn't appear to matter if the scrap pane is closed or left open.
I agree. It seems unrelated to what happens in the find dialog (either search for something or even cancel the search, leave scrap pane open or close, no difference).
What strikes me is that when you get into a previously browsed folder (might even be some time ago you were there), the look in field is populated with some subfolder of the current active folder. I'm not sure if you would have had to've searched in that folder earlier. Maybe I'll investigate a little further to get that clarified...
