latest version with tree

Post by nikos »

are there any people using xplorer2 latest version with the folder tree on? I had a couple of reports that there are some random crashes on exit?

I always have the tree pane on, and x2 is always on for almost 24 hours.
No crashes whatsoever (using x2 PRO on Win7 Professional, and Win 7 Ultimate).

(Quite) never been without the tree. No crashes which weren't related to third-party shell extensions.

Nikos:

Sorry for not speaking up sooner: I have the folder tree on (always) and x2 often closes with a crash for me (since before the latest version too). I start x2 when I log in and it's on all day until quitting time. When I close it, I often have to click on the "Don't Send" button of the crash dialog that appears. It doesn't happen every time, but it must be nearly half the time. I never figured out why, and, obviously, I haven't been too concerned about it; there haven't been any real consequences as far as I can tell.

This isn't helpful, I know. There's no pattern to it. I'm on XP and hooked up to a large corporate network.

Let me know if you need (or want) any other information.
