you know that you can use ALT+click on the drivebar to change drives for the inactive pane, right?

You're not actually more bothered by the shortened tabs allowing you only 3 letters to read?  If I were a tab user (instead of an instance-user), that would drive me to scotch in the morning as well...

I hadn't noticed the inconsistency between the tab labelling until now, wtf...

Option to position Tab Bars vertically would fix that - or a 30" 2560×1600 monitor ;)

If nikos wanted to introduce vertical tab bars then could the positioning of such be independently configured for each pane - e.g. horizontal on top for the first (left/top) pane, and vertical on right for the second (right/bottom) pane etc.

RP

My 'work' layout, 'personal' is similar with different tabs & miniscrap

Clean and polished (and with redundant tabs).

It's kinda nice to see 2xExplorer again... I guess it's been over ten years since I have run it...

Right. Screens become wider and applications become less wide. There is less screen height to waste these days, still applications tend to have more and more toolbars or whatever. Microsoft's "ribbons" are sort of a sick joke.
