I always loved math!  I forgot all about those 'powers'! Oh well, I haven't had much time to think about it. :)

The spelling was not an error. It was intended to be a joke.

:ok: Sorry, Sal, I guess you need a laughing emoticon so that I know when you are joking. I certainly understood the look of disgust with the rolling of the eyes though.

OK so I know the answer but I don't think I should be the one to divilge it. I think it should be Ramrod.

Hi wr488, the answer is the letter 'h'. If you reread the riddle, you'll see the letter 'h' in every important word.

i'm making a stab in the dark. but 'h' wouldnt realy explain that riddle overly well. but i think maybe 'peace' would. but thats only my thoughts on the matter.

Hmmm, just came back in and reread the riddle, my mind needed to be challenged a little.  I still believe the answer is "time".  However peace sounds good too.  And Bus, where on the internet did you find the answer "H".  That doesnt' really sound right to me.  Just my opinion though.  My son and his friends still insist it is time.
Ok, that done with, who is going to start a new riddle?  I'm up for a good challenge, well not to big a challenge.

Here is one for everyone.  This is Albert Einstein's riddle.  Try to figure it out first...it's a logic.  Don't look it up.  I was able to get the answer...it takes some work.

1. In a street there are five houses, painted five different colors.
2. In each house lives a person of different nationality.
3. These five homeowners each drink a different kind of beverage, smoke different brand of cigar and keep a different pet.

THE QUESTION: WHO OWNS THE FISH?

HINTS

1. The Brit lives in a red house.
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
3. The Dane drinks tea.
4. The Green house is on the left of the White house.
5. The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the center house drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15. The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water.

ALBERT EINSTEIN WROTE THIS RIDDLE EARLY DURING THE 19th CENTURY. HE SAID THAT 98% OF THE WORLD POPULATION WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SOLVE IT.

If you cheat by looking it up, you;ll never know whether you're in the 2 percent.

Good Luck! :spin:

Linda, It became an OBSESSION! I couldn't get it out of my mind. I was going to leave it for another day, but I had to work on it right after I read it. But I think I know the answer and I will email it to you. But I want try it again tomorrow and recheck myself first. I am also going to bring it into work and see if my co-workers can figure it out. :D

Susie,
It became an obession for me also.  My mom had given it to me.  If you kept working on it you probably figured it out.  Seems some people give up........they must be the 98 percent that Einstein said would not get it.
