How to copy all files from many sub-folders?

Post by Mark2583 »

I have a Folder with 50 sub-folders and several more layers of sub-folders.
How can I get / move / copy all of the files from all of the folders
and sub-folders and put the files all into One folder.
IF it helps, the files that I want all have the same file extension (like maybe *.TXT).
Is there a way to do this with the Free version? :?
Thanks.

you cannot do this with the free lite version, but with the professional version you can "browse flat" the entire folder hierarchy, then copy the files and paste them in a single folder. Note that files with the same name will cause a problem

for more information see here www.zabkat.com/blog/10Aug08-paste-special.htm

Okay, good to know, that makes me lean towards buying the full version. I've always got to handle large amounts of data (right now, I have to compile 20 years of prices, changes, purchases etc about these houses in Cannes, among other things...) and it's a gigantic pain to do it manually.
