Reference Master List?

Post by Andy Davies »

Would it be possible to have Crack Tracker reference a master list of previously sent links?

This could be a plain text file with previously sent links on each line that would be referenced at the end of a search and have any items on the master list removed from the final search results that are pending.

This would be a massive time saver for me if this could be done automatically :)

hi Andy

in general you don't have to worry about what URLs were sent and what not. If sent, chances are they will be removed. If they are not removed, crack tracker will find them again the next time you run it.

there is a way to import old results too. First use COPY button to grab the text, save it into a text file, then when you restart crack tracker, copy the text from the file, click on the results list in crack tracker then press ctrl+V to paste the text. This simulates a text import

Thanks for the fast reply!

Can you expand the paste function to include raw links?

I have a personal master list of links that have already been sent and dont really want to send multiple take down requests for the same links over a period of a few days.
It can take up to 48 hrs for file sharing sites to remove the active links and as such they show as active in Crack Tracker which means i have to filter the links so only ones that have not had DMCA notices sent will show.

Thanks :)

here's a trick for your old links: if you have just the url, you can import it by adding TWO tabs after the URL (each link in its own line)

but from what you are saying you want to remove your old links from the new results. There's no easy way to do this in crack tracker

why don't you run crack tracker say once a week? Then you don't have to deal with such intermediate problems
