Deskrule not finding text in PDF files

I can't seem to get Deskrule to find text that is in any PDF files. I don't see anyone reporting this problem so I'm doing something fundamentally wrong. Anyone got any ideas?

you sent a support email about this, no?
normally deskrule should find text in PDFs. Make sure you are entering your keywords in the CONTENTS field on the toolbar and that you are searching in the correct folder. Some generic info that should help:

general search issues
*
PDF particulars
(these are for xplorer2 but similar apply for deskrule)
