Search results message.

Post by Gandolf »

"The search didn't go very well..." implies that there was a problem with the search, which is not strictly true.

Something like:

Code: Select all

No duplicate files found...

Do you want to revise your comparison parameters?
Or try a new scan with a different set of folders.
Also, I think "Yes" should go back to the "Scan for duplicate files" window, where you can select a new project or pick one from the history. As it is it goes back to the "Scan for duplicates" window and it's not possible to select another directory, the "Add" button is greyed out.

Expert mode is NO.

This is a good one!
Start declone.
Pick a scan from the history.
Start the scan, nothing found.
Select "Yes".
Alt+Tab to another application and back to DeClone
Select start scan.

Thank you.

I was expecting you to come up with some complex explanation, possibly involving a Greek philosopher, as to why your message was the better one.
