maybe i've not seen the site for a couple weeks or so, but filehippo.com has made some changes.
haven't used it much, but seems like ads are now really easy to see and centre stage

I think he meant "ads for stuff he might actually be interested in" rather than the usual "ads for normal junkware". Then again, one never knows.
At least these hippo kids haven't gone the CNET route of forcing prepackaged wrapper-malware on downloads.

I was being sarcastic. Who wants to see ads these days? And plus I don't shop at Asda (which is an ad that was displayed).
Yea the Cnet wrapper packages are crap & not necessary. But everyone gotta make that money.
