MSDN subscriptions, any user experience?

Post by sanferno »

Hi, I'm thinking in getting a MSDN Professional subscription. Is there any user here kind enough to share its experience? What about Azure credits for test/development?
Thank you.

Hi! This is a good reference, I have applied for "Azure for research" since that products fits better my profile. I'm not a start up, nither student, so I think I'm not elegible for "Bizspark". I'm planning to use "the cloud" as a remote desktop for a probable project I'd starting aboard in the next months.

With that in mind, my question was about "Visual Studio Professional" (https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/pricing/) which is 539$. Quite a bit of money, but I think it has a reasonable amount of features. I've also checked Amazon Web Services, which is also nice, but you don't get any MS licenses (SO & Visual Studio).
