app to insert autotext

Hi,

When doing a lot of typing in various different applications you end up I'm having to type the same old thing time and time again.  

Does anyone use a good (freeware) auto-insert, autotext-type app?  For example, if I was typing:

sig

I'd want it to insert

This is my signature.

there are some clip* type of tools, like clipmate etc which i haven't used but should do this

I use the free ArsClip which has this facility, though it's more intended as a means of keeping a constant reusable log of the copy/paste activities in general.
